Shetland has a rich history of composers adding fresh tunes into the tradition. We decided it was worthwhile to include a selection of these tunes in a section of their own. Please regard these examples as an introduction to the composers and not a definitive collection. There are however many published collections available to explore. A good starting point would be the Shetland Times Bookshop online, or if visiting Shetland, try the High Level Music shop as well.
