Five members of the PennWest Edinboro Student PSEA local joined local Edinboro United Methodist Church to fill eggs for their 40th Annual East Egg Hunt.

PennWest Edinboro Student PSEA members took part in the 2024 Outreach to Teach project at Hamilton Elementary School in the School District of Lancaster. Our members painted murals, ran paint, and more.

PennWest Edinboro was one of the lucky universities to be in the path of totality of the Great North American Eclipse. Members of our local took this opportunity by storm and flocked to assist with the Kids Zone that day. We worked to provide craft opportunities of the kids from across the community, state, and nation to make sure their day was filled with joy and brightness (even when the moon blocked the sun)!

PennWest Edinboro Student PSEA Members joined the PennWest Edinboro Early Childhood Education Club to make tie blankets for foster children in Erie County. During this event, a total of 14 blankets were made for the children.

Members of PennWest Edinboro Student PSEA worked at the Kids Zone of the PennWest Edinboro Homecoming ceremonies. They worked to bring joy to the children of university students, alumni, and the Edinboro community.  They helped manage face painting, a bouncy house, limbo, and other crafts.

To celebrate Halloween festivities, members of the PennWest Edinboro Student PSEA volunteered at the Engine 39 Fire Station's Trunk or Treat. Our members did face paint, monster and pumpkin coloring, bracelet making, pumpkin toss and handing out candy.

Our members joined members from across Western Pennsylvania at the Outreach to Teach project of Slippery Rock Student PSEA's Rock Solid Conference. Members helped paint the school in Grove City along with developing learning centers, such as sensory boards and puppet stands.

For the second time this year, our members partnered with the PennWest Edinboro Early Childhood club to make tie blankets for children in foster care in Erie County.

A handful of our members joined PSEA Treasurer Rachel West at the YMCA Early Learners University to read five Dr. Seuss books: The Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, Oh, the Places You'll Go, Horton Hears a Who, and Green Eggs and Ham. Our members also led the preschoolers and PreK students in a craft that matched the book that they had read to them.

Twelve members of the PennWest Edinboro Student PSEA local joined local Edinboro United Methodist Church to fill eggs for their 41st Annual East Egg Hunt. Thanks to our help, it took half as long as usual for the eggs to be filled in preparation of the upcoming Egg Hunt (April 12th, 2025
