The IDA, also known as the Interplanetary Data Association, is, at its core, a group that prioritizes the collection of information about everything. They have multiple agents that are sent to conduct research on different factions (UCoM, Federation, Vactum, etc.) Their database is technically public, but some documents are classified. To aid with finding specific information in their database, the IDA has an AI assistant that hangs from the main ceiling in the headquarters.
