Virtual Worlds and Learning

For this assignment, I visited Whyville, which is an educational virtual world gaming site. Although it could be used in the classroom, I would do so sparingly. You can read more on my thoughts about this in the SlideShow included. I would definitely introduce kids to the site and encourage them to use it on their own time at home, as we all know most children are going to be on the computers after school anyways.
