The final day of the event brought a wealth of knowledge and engaging discussions. The program kicked off with Abderraouf Hzami from INSTM, Tunisia, who provided an in-depth look at the use of GIS in managing lagoonal environments, focusing on the OMELI case study. His presentation highlighted the importance of spatial data in monitoring ecological systems and managing coastal resources effectively.
Following this, Gil Mahé from IRD, HSM, France, captivated the audience with an informative session on the hydrological database. His presentation offered a deep dive into the methods of hydrological data collection, analysis, and its application in understanding water systems, contributing to sustainable water management.
The day concluded on a celebratory note with a closing ceremony, where participants were recognized for their dedication and achievements throughout the event. Certificates were distributed to commemorate their efforts and contributions.
