MARYLAND, UNITED STATES — August 14, 2026 — EcoEmpower is calling on leading scientific, environmental, development, and peacebuilding organizations to facilitate a high-level global discussion of Earth’s Operational Design (EOD), a proposed framework developed by Dr. Mastewal Ejigu Ademe (Hon.). EOD identifies 13 Design Factors and 8 Governing Principles and seeks an international platform where the complete framework can be presented, questioned, independently examined, and tested by qualified experts.
“The planet is continuously working for us. The urgent question is whether we sufficiently understand that work—and whether our actions are helping or disrupting the systems performing it.”
Humanity depends on natural processes it did not construct—including evaporation, atmospheric moisture transport, precipitation, vegetation growth, infiltration, groundwater recharge, soil-water interactions, rivers, and ecosystem regeneration. These processes do not operate independently. EOD proposes understanding Earth as an interconnected operational system rather than addressing environmental processes and crises separately.
This perspective has potential relevance to freshwater and groundwater security, food production, drought, wildfire risk, flooding, ecosystem degradation, climate resilience, migration, and sustainable development.
War can also destroy vegetation, disturb soils and watersheds, contaminate land and water, generate emissions and fires, damage infrastructure, and interrupt environmental management and restoration. Understanding these environmental consequences strengthens the case for international cooperation and peace.
The world possesses enormous scientific knowledge, yet expertise is often divided among disciplines, institutions, programs, and policies. EOD proposes bringing these perspectives together around a shared understanding of the natural systems upon which every country depends.
We have many countries, many institutions, and many scientific disciplines—but we share one interconnected planet.
Shared priorities include reducing pollution, improving freshwater security, protecting groundwater, producing more food sustainably, restoring landscapes and ecosystems, strengthening environmental resilience, improving environmental education, encouraging international cooperation, and promoting peace.
EcoEmpower is not asking the world to accept EOD without examination. It is asking for the opportunity to present the complete framework to qualified experts.
Developed following more than two decades of learning, professional experience, observation, rainfall-partitioning research, and environmental exploration, EOD is ready for international scientific discussion. If independent examination establishes value, it could progress toward collaborative research, field demonstrations, education programs, policy discussions, and appropriate country-level applications.
Bring EOD to the table. Allow the complete framework to be presented. Let scientists question and examine it. Test its claims against evidence. Demonstrate its application in real landscapes. If validated, establish a pathway to make the knowledge useful worldwide.
