Match Rules

>Every angler who participates in the match must hold a valid rod license as well as a be a current member of Eastmoor Angling Club.

>You must fish in the peg you draw before the match.

> Only one rod or one pole to be used at any one time.

> All nets used must meet Environment Agency standards.

> Minimum keepnet length of 2.5 meters.

> One hook to be used at anyone time- no double hook rigs or treble hooks.

> No pre-baiting allowed before a match, only after time has been called.

> Do not leave lines unattended in the water.

> 10 minutes will be allocated after the final whistle to allow landing and unhooking fish. ( Bites after the whistle do NOT count)

>No spinning.

> No wading.

>Any disputes during the match regarding peg draws and weighing in will be decided by the match official.

> In the event of a draw , the money is to be shared equally ( when in the top three)

> If only one person catches, winner takes all.

> In the event no-one catches, money will be either rolled over or handed back to anglers.

Anyone not adhering to the rules will be asked to leave.
