ABOUT THE CLUB

Eastmoor Angling Club was re-launched in 2001,by close friends Ron Halliday ,Bruce Woodcock and David Land.

Launched to promote fishing to the young and old and bring together communities of the East Ward 16 area ( Wakefield ).

  The club took over reclaimed land on a former colliery site at the back of the estate. Mr Land ,Bruce Woodcock and Ron Halliday were responsible for clearing and re-stocking the River Calder, between the railway bridge on Linton Road and the lock. 

Memberships are just £20 for the year or £15 for concessions.

Anyone under 18 is free.
