Each week students, who take lessons with Mrs. Davies, are assigned listening homework. This homework is on schoology. Each week she will email the list of students, who take lessons with her and have marked their homework. (This is by ID number rather than name) There are two tabs. One is 6th grade and new students and the other is 7th grade students. There is no listening for 8th grade students. If it is marked red, it is overdue and missing. If it is blue that means they tried but need to make corrections. Yellow means due this week before their lesson. Unlike other classes it is imperative that students work on this homework until it is perfect. There is no sort of right option in rhythm in music so it is very important for them to be able to understand this completely.
School or Private Lesson Forms
Students (instrumentalists only) are required to take in school lessons, which are free of charge or take private lessons which will be paid by the family. This is for each instrument that the student plays in EHBOA. You can take both in school and private lessons if you wish. Please fill out one form below. If you are taking both in school and private lessons you only need to fill out the school lesson form.
School Lesson Form – this is small group lessons during school time. Open to all EHBOA students who play their instrument in an ensemble.
Private Lesson Form – this is for lessons that are paid by parents/guardian and are outside of school time with a private teacher (not Mrs. Davies)
