Youth Safety Evaluation Program

This training is mandatory for youth ages 6-15 who will be operating Class 3 motorcycles and Class 1 ATV's as required by rider fit.

Working together, the Oregon Motorcycle Riders Association (OMRA) and Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) have implemented the Youth Safety Evaluation Program (YSEP). Participating clubs, individuals, OHV businesses, and agencies conduct evaluations for Oregon's young riders.

Youth must complete the mandatory OPRD Online Safety Education Course before attending a YSEP skills test event. Then youth can be registered through the OMRA website for an evaluation near them.
