Donna Troy, known as Troia, is one of Wonder Woman’s closest allies and most trusted sisters-in-arms. Her life is a tapestry woven from mystery, rebirth, and a destiny that ties her to the Amazons, the stars, and the defense of the multiverse.
Donna’s earliest memories are fragmented, marked by lapses that have haunted her since childhood. The first clear moment she recalls as a living, thinking being was setting fire to the building where she once lived—a trauma clouded by confusion and amnesia.
In her dreams, she was pursued by an ancient word she could never hold onto at dawn, until one day fate intervened. Fleeing from Batman, who pursued her to know about the fire she started in Gotham, Donna accidentaly encountered Wonder Woman, whose sudden intervention sparked the memory of that word: “Hiketeia.” This sacred Amazonian term, spoken in dire need, sealed her connection to Diana and the Amazons forever.
Recognizing her as an orphan in need of home and purpose, Diana brought Donna to Themyscira. There, Donna found sisterhood among the Amazons and protection under Diana’s champion’s mantle. This bond grounded her, even as the mystery of her origins remained.
In her training, Donna discovered latent and mystical gifts that made her as skilled as any Amazon. Hippolyta then summoned the Moirai to explain the girl's origins, but the Three refrained from getting involved with what the Titans of Myth had planned for her. To apologize, they presented the girl with a magical rope woven by them, the Lasso of Fate. Capable of manipulating free will and changing the ramifications of the future in its own way.
Peace did not mean stagnation. When Gotham’s Dark Knight invited Donna to join his son’s newly formed team of young heroes, she accepted, eager to test her skills. Among this group, she experienced camaraderie and belonging, taking part in their victories and struggles. Her leadership and loyalty earned her a place of respect—yet moments of déjà vu and half-remembered past lives stirred an unease within her.
She eventually proclaimed the group as the Titans, a title who feels like an echo about her forgotten past.
When the Titans disbanded, Donna resumed her role alongside Diana. More experienced and increasingly curious about her origin, she began to revisit the words and names that haunted her: Hiketeia, Titans, Troia. Each felt like a key to a life she could not fully recall.
Her search for answers brought her deeper into the occult and into quests for artifacts that could strengthen her soul. These journeys hardened her resolve and prepared her for far greater threats.
Donna’s path led her beyond Earthly concerns. She was appointed to the Dark League as a pivotal figure in the coming war against the roaring Darkness—an apocalyptic force capable of consuming the multiverse. Her potential and destiny are no longer mortal in scope.
Guided by the stars themselves, Donna walks a road few could endure. She seeks truth not only for herself but for the fate of countless worlds, knowing that Diana will always stands beside her when the burden threatens to overwhelm.
