Ensender Chat ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Flutter-based mobile application. We use Firebase (a Google service) to power our backend, authentication, and database.
Account Information: Email address, name, and profile picture (via Firebase Authentication).
Chat & Communication:
Messages: Text chats are stored securely in Firebase Firestore.
Real-time Media: Audio and Video calls utilize [WebRTC]. While we facilitate the connection, we do not record or store the content of your live calls on our servers.
Device Permissions: We request access to your Camera and Microphone to enable video/audio calls and Contacts to send requests to existing users.
Technical Data: IP addresses, device model, and crash logs (via Firebase Crashlytics) for app stability.
To provide core chat and calling functionality.
To manage user accounts and "Friend Requests."
To ensure security and prevent fraudulent activity.
We retain data as long as your account is active.
Right to Deletion: Users can delete their account directly within the app settings. Upon deletion, all personal data and chat history will be permanently removed from our Firebase active production servers within 30 days.
We share data with the following providers to operate the app:
Google Firebase: For hosting, database, and authentication.
WebRTC: For facilitating real-time audio/video streams.
