Students first started by using their sharpies and Mr. Sketch markers to add different colors, shapes, and marks on their shells!

When completed, students carried their 'shells' and placemats over to me for spraying! This was very engaging and enjoyable to watch as all colors and smells blended together!

Next up, students were able to trace, cut, and glue together their snail bodies and shells. They also created a personality to go along with them!

Finally, each of the students envisioned and created where their snails will be journeying! From candy shops, to cemeteries, to castles.. you may never know when or where you'll find a snail voyaging near you!
