Stake Interviews

The temple is the House of the Lord, and entering the temple is a sacred privilege.  Stake presidency and bishopric members represent the Lord in conducting interviews for worthiness to enter the holy temple; temple recommend interviews allow members to demonstrate that they have a testimony and are striving to obey God’s commandments and follow His prophets. When going to a temple, members should wear the type of clothing they typically wear to sacrament meeting.  As such, it is also appropriate when interviewing for a temple recommend for members to wear the type of clothing they typically wear to sacrament meeting.

All students applying to a Church Educational System school, which includes Brigham Young University, Brigham Young University–Hawaii, Brigham Young University-Idaho, and Ensign College, are required to have an Ecclesiastical Endorsement. A member of the stake presidency will need to interview with you to complete this process.
