Christ First - North Carolina Raleigh Mission Social Media

One relatively easy way we can share the gospel is through social media. The North Carolina Raleigh Mission has Facebook and Instagram accounts that are regularly updated with inspiring, Christ-centered content. Links are below. We invite you to (1) follow these accounts and (2) like and repost the content on your feed/pages. It is just one way that we can help be a light unto others.

Member Missionary Work

We invite all members of the Durham NC Stake to be actively involved in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and supporting missionary work within our stake. Below are some suggestions:

1. Pray regularly for opportunities to be "a witness of God at all times, and in all things, and in all places" (Mosiah 18:9)

2. Invite the full-time missionaries for dinner in your home

3. Prepare your children for full-time missionary service by praying and reading the scriptures regularly in your home and providing them opportunities to serve others

4. Invite friends and family members to attend ward and stake activities with you

5. Provide opportunities for full-time missionaries to teach investigators in your home

6. Love your neighbors through small acts of selfless service

7. Live the gospel of Jesus Christ- "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16)

8. Share inspiring experiences, gratitude, and testimony regularly on social media

9. Follow ChristFirstNC (see below for instructions)

North Carolina Raleigh Mission - Monthly Rooftop Message

"The Rooftop" is a monthly video message produced by the NC Raleigh Mission that highlights gospel principles and doctrines. “The Rooftop” can be found on the Mission's Facebook page ChristFirst and can be liked, commented on, or shared with friends and family members. Senior Missionary Opportunities

As President Nelson observed in a recent General Conference: “The gospel of Jesus Christ has never been needed more than it is today…Each of us has a role to play in the gathering of Israel.” Can you see yourself and your part in the story? Whether you are a convert or descended from pioneers; whether you have served in leadership positions in the Church or not; whether you are still working or retired; whether you are single or still have children at home; whether you have saved for a mission or just get by each month; in good health or limited by physical challenges or disability: there is a place for you as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where you are needed and loved. Senior missionaries can serve from home or away from home. As you serve and lift others, you will grow ever nearer our Father in Heaven and our Savior. We encourage all members who use social media to follow ChristFirstNC and participate in missionary work by taking these three simple steps:

1. LOVE (or like) the content posted by the missionaries and comment on it.

2. SHARE the ChristFirstNC content on your own page or in direct messages with your friends on social media.

3. INVITE people that the Lord places in your life to follow you on Facebook or Instagram.
