We are a friendly, all-volunteer tennis club proud to have an active, community-spirited and sociable membership. Our players represent all age groups and a wide range of abilities — from complete beginners to experienced competitors — and new members are always warmly welcomed.

Social & Competitive Tennis

We offer regular opportunities to get on court and enjoy the game:

• Social Tennis
  Mondays, 6:30–10:00pm
  Sundays, 10:00am–1:00pm
  
  

• Competitive Tennis
  We compete in the Essex Small Clubs League and the Halstead & District League.

Coaching for All Levels

Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time, returning after a break, or looking to refine your game, our coaches, George and Victoria, offer a range of coaching options — from individual lessons to group sessions.

Our Membership

Tennis is a fantastic activity for all ages, and we especially welcome junior players. We’re proud to offer very affordable membership rates, with our membership year beginning on 1 April.

Our Facilities

We have two tarmacadam courts located behind Foakes Hall on Stortford Road, Dunmow. Our facilities include:

• A welcoming clubhouse with seating and refreshments

• A large adjacent car park for easy access
