As we approach the summer break, we want to highlight the importance of keeping students engaged and connected to learning during this time. Summer offers a wonderful opportunity for your child to explore new interests, reinforce key concepts, and get a head start on the upcoming school year. To support this, we’ve made all summer learning materials easily accessible on your child’s class website. Simply visit the homeroom page and click on the “Summer Learning” tab to find everything you need. These resources are thoughtfully designed to keep your child’s mind active and curious throughout the break. The aim is to help students stay connected to school while reinforcing essential skills—without unnecessary busywork. The spring NWEA MAP results will be integrated with IXL's recommendations, allowing students to maintain or improve their math and reading skills over the summer. Summer activity will also include the summer reading and math challenge programs offered by the Peoria Public Library (flyers have been distributed to students today). As an added incentive, students who complete their summer work will be invited to our Back-to-School Party in August, 2026, Insha'Allah!
The final report cards for 1st Grade through High School will be available on QuickSchools on Thursday, May 21, after 3:00PM. Preschool and kindergarten report cards will be distributed to parents on Thursday, May 21.
Your child’s MAP® Growth™ Family Report for Spring 2026, which summarizes their academic performance across the Fall, Winter, and Spring testing periods, will be emailed to you separately on Thursday, May 21. These reports provide valuable insights into your child’s academic progress and growth throughout the year. Teachers use this information to better understand each student’s learning needs, tailor instruction, and set personalized goals. If you have not received your child’s report, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to send you a copy.
