January

• January 15: 100th Day of School

• January 16: Uniform-Free Friday is Smart Casual. "Smart Casual" generally means a step up from daily wear while remaining practical for school. Jeans and sweatpants are not allowed.

• January 16: Honor Roll Presentation [In Class] 

• January 19: M.L. King Day, No School

• January 20: In-class written spelling bee, grades 1-8

• January 21: In-class oral spelling bee, grades 1-8

• January 22: HS Bake Sale, Lunch A and B

• January 22: All School Spelling Bee, grades 4-8

• January 23: Uniform-Free Friday is Black and Yellow.

December

• 8-9: MAP Testing

• 19: End of 2nd semester

• 22-31: Winter Break

November

• KG and 1st Grade Bake Sale is on Thursday, November 20

• It's time for the Arabic Spelling Bee! We are excited to announce that Daarul Uloom's annual Arabic Spelling Bee will be taking place next week, and we welcome all students in Grades 1 through 8 to participate.

  • Grades 4–8: Elimination rounds begin on Monday, November 17, 2025

• Final Round of Arabic Spelling Bee - Important Details for Participating Students' Parents for Grades 4-8: Event Details for Finalists

• Date: Friday, November 21, 2025

• Time: Promptly beginning at 2:00 PM (immediately after Jumu’ah salah)

• Location: The School Gym

• Participants: Students in grades 4–8 who have advanced to the final round.

• 26-28: Fall Break

October

• No school and parent teacher conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on:

•     Thursday, October 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

•     Friday, October 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Please schedule a separate meeting with Mrs. Mubeen and Mrs. AlQudah.
