The dryland ecohydrology team conducts applied research to understand the impact of drought, wildfire and land use on rangelands, woodlands and dry forests.
Our research is supported primarily by land management agencies. We collaborate with agency partners to develop information that strengthens resource management in an era of rapid global change.
We seek to communicate the magnitude and uncertainty of expected future changes and provide insight into potential adaptive management strategies while promoting optimism in the face of daunting 21st century resource management challenges.
