Dryland Ecohydrology Team

Applied ecology - semi-arid & arid ecosystems - terrestrial vegetation - climate impacts - climate adaptation strategies

The dryland ecohydrology team conducts applied research to understand the impact of climate change on upland vegetation in dryland ecosystems.

Our research is supported primarily by land management agencies. We collaborate with agency partners to develop information that strengthens resource management in an era of rapid global change.

We seek to communicate the magnitude and uncertainty of expected climate impacts while promoting optimism in the face of daunting 21st century resource management challenges.

We are a part of the USGS Northwest Climate Adaptation Science Center

Hosted at the USGS Southwest Biological Science Center and Northern Arizona University
