Dr Wei He

Professor Wei He received his B.Eng. degree from College of Automation Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology (SCUT), China, in 2006, and his PhD degree from Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, in 2011. He is currently working as a full professor in School of Automation and Electrical Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing, China.

He has co-authored 1 book published in Springer and published over 100 international journal and conference papers. He has been awarded a Newton Advanced Fellowship from the Royal Society, UK. He is a recipient of the Andrew P. Sage Best Transactions Paper Award of the IEEE SMCA in 2017. He is an IEEE Senior Member.

He serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems and IEEE Access, a Leading Guest Editor for IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems special issue on "Intelligent Control through Neural Learning and Optimization for Human Machine Hybrid Systems”, and an Editor of Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems and IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica. His current research interests include robotics, distributed parameter systems and intelligent control systems.
