Dr. Reddy is running as a completely independent candidate for village government because he wants to work with ALL residents of Oak Brook, including other local elected officials. For too long, village leaders have struggled to work collaboratively with each other and done little to ensure ordinary residents have a seat at the table in village governance, in a convenient and efficient manner. Oak Brook will only be successful if everyone has a seat at the table, and as Village President, Dr. Reddy will be an independent voice that will bridge the political, neighborhood, and relationship divides that have recently kept Oak Brook from reaching its potential.  

Dr. Reddy is focused on the betterment and progress of Oak Brook, plain and simple. He is a successful physician, small business owner & entrepreneur, and part-time academic professor. He does not need this job and receives no benefit from it. But Dr. Reddy is called to service, because he loves this community and wants to see it thrive in the years ahead. He moved to Oak Brook because it’s a tremendous place to live, work, and raise a family, and with his leadership, the village will attract families, businesses, and entrepreneurs like him for years to come. 

Dr. Reddy has a simple vision for Oak Brook, which everyone in the community wants right now … a resident-driven village. What does that mean? It means that if he’s elected Village President, Dr. Reddy will make sure residents, neighbors, and businesses are driving the decisions and that everyone has a seat at the table.

Dr. Reddy brings diverse professional, personal, and leadership experience to the table to navigate all that is necessary when leading a village of 8,100 people and a daily commercial foot traffic of approx. 80,000 people. As a small business owner, employer, and former leader of a national organization with 120,000 members, Dr. Reddy has the management experience to lead a thriving and successful village because he knows that effective leadership is about empowering others to meet their potential and make efficient and effective decisions to improve our community.
