System Requirements

Electrical Requirements:

  1. Transmit power must be <15dBm

    • Measured at a range of 50m

  2. Transmit power should be>25dBm

    • Measured at a range of 15m

  3. Bandwidth for the system must be

    • DC to 5GHz RX

    • DC to 2.4GHz TX

  4. Sampling rate for the system must be 5GHz

  5. Noise floor of the receiver must be -15dB

  6. Center frequency of the sampling must be 2.4GHz

Mechanical Requirements:

  1. Rotational speed of platform should be 15RPM

  2. Rotational accuracy of the platform should be ±1deg

  3. Supported weight of platform must be 25N

  4. Size of the total platform should be < 1m^3

System Level Requirements:

  1. Operational Range of the transmit system should be 15m

  2. Operational Range of the detection system should be 25m

  3. The UI of our system should be complete and be supported with an accessible engineering console

  4. The system should cover a broad spectrum of commercial drones

  5. The system must not report user data

  6. This system must be available for private citizens to deploy on private property
