Vote for Dr. Janet Estrada by Nov. 4th, 2025
As someone who grew up in poverty, to achieve biliteracy as bicultural Latina, Dr. Estrada knows the power of opportunity. On the Adams 14 School Board, she has championed multilingual programming, passed the “Linguistically Gifted Students” resolution, and works to ensure every student—regardless of background—has access to rigorous, high-quality instruction.
Policy Priorities: Expand dual language, culturally responsive curricula, and gifted-talented pathways for all students.
Growing up in a hardworking immigrant household, Dr. Estrada understands that schools are the heart of the community. She helped launch the Community Schools model in Adams 14, institutionalizing wraparound services, and integrating stronger family-partnerships into our schools.
Policy Priorities: Invest in community school models that integrate health, mental health, family engagement, and enrichment programs directly on campus.
As a board leader, Dr. Estrada helped recover the district’s state accreditation—twice—restore local control from external management, and pass a $113.9 million bond to invest in schools. She is deeply committed to data-driven decision making that accelerates learning.
Policy Priority: Maintain high academic expectations while providing targeted supports to close opportunity gaps and improve student outcomes.
Raised by a father who never missed a day of work, Dr. Estrada believes in honoring hard work and dedication. On the board, she helped raise teacher salaries to the top 5% in Colorado and prioritized educator well-being.
Policy Priorities: Continue to improve working conditions, strengthen mentorship, and increase professional growth opportunities so every student learns from highly-qualified, well-supported teachers.
