The actual training schedules will be prepared by the start of every week during the school term and the specific training details can be found there. Under normal circumstances, the schedule can be found at the NPCC store, otherwise, the schedule will be sent to the various chats by the relevant authorities. Do check the schedules as soon as possible in order to prepare yourselves adequately for training.
For CHSNPCC, typically we have 2 training sessions per week; that being on Monday and Friday. Training will usually commence at 1530 and conclude at 1830 for a total duration of 3h per training session. Please attend training on time and fall in at your respective locations by your reporting time (Details can be found in the training schedule).
There are 3 main training attires which we commonly use for training: CHS PT Kit, HQ PT Kit & Full Uniform. The training attire will depend on the training programme for that day itself.
This attire comprises of the yellow CHS PE T-shirt, the blue CHS PE shorts and black socks, hence why it is abbreviated as YBB (Yellow, Blue, Black). The yellow CHS PE T-shirt can also be exchanged with the Unit T-shirt, after which it will be abbreviated as BBB (Black, Blue, Black). During training hours, the T-shirt must be tucked in. This is a versatile attire which can be used for virtually all training types, especially for physical training sessions (PT).
This attire comprises of the yellow CHS PE T-shirt, black track pants and white socks, hence why it is abbreviated as YBW (Yellow, Black, White). The yellow PE T-shirt can also be exchanged with the Unit T-shirt, after which it will be abbreviated as BBW (Black, Black, White). During training hours, the T-shirt must be tucked in. Also, the track pants must be fully black. Any non-black logos must be concealed, either by colouring it black, or by concealing it with black cloth tape. This attire is meant to protect the legs as much as possible from external elements when outdoors. Thus it is most commonly worn during camp craft sessions (CC).
This attire comprises of the beret, shirt, trousers, belt, black socks and boots. It is typically abbreviated as Full U. This is one of most formal attires which an NPCC cadet can don and is thus most commonly worn for ceremonies and drill sessions. For drill practise sessions, the Half Uniform (Abbreviated as Half U) can also be worn. This attire merely involves exchanging the shirt with the yellow CHS PE T-shirt or the Unit T-shirt. This attire is typically worn if the Full Uniform has to be worn soon in order to preserve the conditions of the uniform for when it has to be worn for events or parades. There is much etiquette to adhere to when wearing the Full Uniform, so you may refer to the "Introduction to Uniform Etiquette" subheading to find out more.
