This day camp takes place around April and lasts for 2 days. During the camp, Teacher Officers will get the Secondary 1 cadets started on some basic badgework to earn some proficiency badges. The Black Knights comprise of a selected few Secondary 1 and 2 cadets who demonstrate outstanding performance in drill execution. They go through rigorous training during the December holidays to perfect their baton drills to put up a 16-man, fancy performance during CCA Showcase and Open House. All the hardship aside, the Black Knights get to learn exclusive baton drills, so it is quite a rare opportunity for them. Also, facing all adversities together really helps to foster a strong sense of brotherhood and closeness between them. This is definitely an opportunity you wouldn't want to miss!
Secondary 1 cadets get the opportunity to participate in the 1 star kayaking course with their squad mates around the second half of the year. They will be coached by a professional kayaking instructor for 2 days to pick up all the skills required for basic kayaking. Not only will cadets get to learn the various techniques involved in kayaking, but they will also learn how to help others recover after being capsized. After the course, cadets earn their 1 star kayaking certificate as well as a enrichment badge which they can pin onto their NPCC uniforms. All in all, it is a fun, fruitful and unprecedented experience which you will never forget!
Being part of Area 4, we congregate together annually around October for area games day when we play a wide array of fun activities planned by the various units in Area 4 and compete to be the champion. This is an event which many of us look forward to every single year and it is one you would never forget.
Every year, together as a unit, we take a bumboat to Pulau Ubin to for a hike. We were split up into various groups consisting of cadets from different batches before designing our group flags and hiking around, waving our group flags proudly! During the hike, there are many team bonding activities, with one of the highlights being the group cheers at the top of Puaka Hill! It is a fresh new experience which you wouldn't want to miss out on!
The Drill Competition is a biennial event held all across Singapore whereby every unit sends a select few of their cadets to compete at the NPCC HQ. We It is a competition to test our proficiency in drills and through the many hours of preparation, not only have we refined our drill executive capabilities, but we have also grown closer as a unit. Though it may be arduous at times, it is definitely an enriching experience for all of us.
The Camp Craft Competition is also a biennial event whereby we compete with other units to see who can pitch the best tent, erect the best flagstaff and construct the best gadget within 10min. This was one of the most hectic times of our lives, requiring us to spend countless hours devising strategies and practising. That being said, it really pushed us to the limits and helped us to unlock our full potential in Camp Craft. It is quite amazing seeing how much we can achieve when we put our mind to it. This is truly an experience that will be indelibly etched in our minds.
The .22 Revolver Shooting is definitely one of the top highlights in an NPCC cadet's journey! Being able to experience first hand what it is like to hold a real .22 revolver and fire 16 real bullets at the shooting range in NPCC HQ is so thrilling! With the highest attainable score of 80, sharpshooters can look forward to procuring the Marksmanship Badge if they get above 60. It is a remarkable and fun experience not to be missed!
To prepare the soon-to-be Cadet Leaders, the Secondary 3s will plan a training camp at the end of the year to refine their hard skills, as well as to cultivate their soft skills and values. Besides additional training, cadets get to enjoy many interesting activities to train their teamwork and leadership capabilities which are all pivotal qualities for a Cadet Leader to possess. It is an educational and enjoyable event which you will never forget!
Around the 9th of August every year, NPCC will be part of the NDP celebration within our own school together with the other uniformed groups. Every year, the guard-of-honour contingent is alternated between the uniformed groups in Catholic High School but regardless, we all devote our utmost effort to put up the best performance that we can for our nation. To be part of the parade which commemorates the independence of our nation is really a great honour and an amazing experience to be part of.
NPAP stands for the National Police Cadet Corps Annual Parade and is one which commemorates NPCC Day. The best cadets of every unit are sent to be part of the parade and together we train for hours upon hours to perfect the parade. To see the fruits of our labour come into fruition is really something and to be part of such a prestigious parade is really quite honourable. Albeit the grueling training hours, it is nevertheless a great experience.

This 3 Day 2 Night camp in NPCC Camp Resilience at Pulau Ubin allows us to experience various activities done in the wild such land expeditions and field cooking.
