I participated in the 2025 Faculty Fellows Program Symposium, a faculty development and scholarly dissemination program showcased in the published symposium program booklet above. This program supports faculty professional growth by providing a structured venue for fellows to develop, refine, and communicate projects that advance instructional effectiveness, student success, and/or scholarly or creative work within their discipline. My fellowship has been renewed for 2026.
This activity provides strong evidence of faculty growth and impact across key areas of evaluation:
Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation: The fellowship supported iterative improvement of course or program elements, reinforcing my commitment to continuous instructional enhancement and high-impact learning practices.
Scholarly Engagement/Dissemination: Presenting at the symposium strengthened the visibility and rigor of my work by requiring a formal communication of goals, methods, and outcomes to an academic audience.
Service and Professional Development: Participation contributed to institutional culture around reflective teaching, scholarly exchange, and collective advancement of academic excellence.
Significance: Overall, my engagement in the 2025 Faculty Fellows Program Symposium reflects sustained professional development and scholarly teaching practice. The program provided an important platform to communicate my work, document outcomes, and translate innovations into shareable models that support students and strengthen departmental and institutional priorities.
