Mr. Tumula Tirumala completed his M.Tech. degree in Foundry-Forge Technology from National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology, Ranchi, Jharkhand and B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (also known as A. P. IIIT), Nuzvid, Andhra Pradesh. He got 'Pat on the Back' in an all India Science and Engineering students contest, named, KPIT SPARKLE2016, for an innovative idea, Hybrid Gas Power Cycle. He has joined Advance Materials Manufacturing and Tribology Laboratory at IIT Tirupati as a PhD research scholar (Joined July 2020). His area of interest is ‘Mechanical, and Microstructural Study of Advanced Materials’. He submitted his PhD thesis March 2025.
Mr. Dipayan Chakraborty completed his M.Tech in Laser Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Netaji Subhash Engineering College (WBUT), West Bengal. He has worked in the field of Additive Manufacturing, Laser Material Processing, and Mechanical Testing during M.Tech. He has taken vocational training at Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). He has secured Grade-A in Science Talent Search Examination (National Science Society). He has also completed diploma in Vocal and Rabindra Sangeet with First Class. He has joined Advance Materials Manufacturing and Tribology Laboratory at IIT Tirupati as a regular PhD research scholar (Joined January 2021). His areas of interest are Manufacturing, Mechanical and Microstructural Study of Aerospace Materials and Additive Manufacturing.
Mr. Nisar Ahamad Khan completed his M.Tech in Materials Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka in 2017 and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Galgotias College of Engineering in 2014. He has joined Advance Materials Manufacturing and Tribology Laboratory at IIT Tirupati as a regular PhD research scholar (Joined January 2022). His areas of interest are Manufacturing, Mechanical and Microstructural Study of Light Weight Materials and Soild State Additive Manufacturing.
