Sharing History and Stories

Every two years, Dragoo descendants and their families come together from across the country to celebrate our shared heritage and strengthen the bonds of family.

Our reunions are a wonderful opportunity to meet new cousins, reconnect with old friends, exchange family stories, and learn more about our ancestors. Members also have the opportunity to browse the DFA's extensive Family History Library, explore Heritage Albums and genealogical records from the ten Dragoo family lines, and share research with fellow family historians.

Over several memorable days, members enjoy good food, sightseeing, family activities, and the fellowship that makes each gathering special. Reunions also provide an opportunity to participate in the business and future of the Dragoo Family Association.

Whether attending for the first time or returning to see familiar faces, everyone becomes part of a continuing family tradition.

Looking Ahead — Our 40th Anniversary Reunion!

In 2028, the Dragoo Family Association will celebrate its 40th anniversary, and we look forward to gathering in Lexington, Kentucky, for this special occasion.

As we celebrate four decades of family connections, genealogical discoveries, and shared memories, we will also look toward the future and the generations of Dragoo descendants who will carry our family heritage forward.

Whether you're reconnecting with cousins you've known for years or meeting relatives for the very first time, we hope you'll join us!
