Despite DOW originally being meant for teens and up, kids have gotten their hands on the game, and it would be impossible to peel them away from it. Therefore, instead of trying to stop it, they embraced it. During the Empire Era, DOW introduced the 'Education System' into the game, alongside two DOW-exclusive assessments. Find out more below:
The DACA, Dragon Academics Capability Assessment, is similar to a college entrance exam. The difficulty of the DACA is reminiscent of that of the Gaokao (Chinese standardized test), as it is very challenging for someone to achieve a perfect score on the test. The DACA is scored out of 1000 points: 300 (Math), 300 (English), 150 (Science), 150 (History), 100 (Miscellaneous). Also, certain organizations do require good DACA scores, although they mainly want the WACA score instead, like the Swiftmen and INT. Swiftmen: 750 score minimum, INT: Not Required
The WACA, Warrior Academics Capability Assessment, is similar to a fitness and war test. The test gauges the skill level of someone's fighting capability and wit, and it is very challenging for someone to achieve a perfect score on the test. The WACA is scored out of 1000. Also, most organizations require good WACA scores, like the Swiftmen and INT.
Swiftmen: 900 score minimum, INT: 800 score minimum.
SUPER GRADE: It's basically a dream to get a grade this good.
CAB GRADE: Any CAB grade is what organizations are looking for, although more serious organizations want As or Bs, not Cs.
FED GRADE: The bad grade trio, unlike the good grade trio, CAB GRADES, are grades that organizations do not want. However, these grades show potential to reach a CAB Grade, especially if the pupil has a D grade. Funny enough, most 'feds' within Dragons of War actually score in this grading range, at least academically.
VUZ GRADE: The REALLY bad grades. Most pupils who receive this grade require tutoring, grade retention, grade demotion, or academic reset.
S
SUPER GRADE
The apex grade [99% - ∞). The best possible grade to achieve, as DOW's education system is based on the letter, not the exact percentage. It's 99% and not 100% because a real 100% is unrealistic and not that accurate to actual capability.
A
CAB GRADE
The great grade [90% - 99%). The grade that will get people into virtually any organization and higher education program within the game. Reserved only for the determined and smarties.
B
CAB GRADE
The good grade [80% - 90%). The grade is the typical grade a student paying attention and putting in a little extra time each day would get. Expected for most serious organizations.
C
CAB GRADE
The average grade [70% - 80%). The grade is the norm for most students who attend the DOW Education System, as most can learn new information easily enough.
D
FED GRADE
The suboptimal grade [60% - 70%). This grade is usually the grade and below that organizations reject. However, this is also called the 'potential grade' because of its distance to CAB grades.
E
FED GRADE
The bad grade [50% - 60%). This grade is usually held by struggling students or students who purposefully don't want to pay attention.
F
FED GRADE
The danger grade [40% - 50%). This grade represents an at-risk student (a student with poor intellectual capability who may need to receive grade retention or even demotion).
U
VUZ GRADE
The uncapable grade (10% - 40%). This grade means that the student is unable to understand the grade and requires tutoring for the next grade, grade retention, or demotion.
V
VUZ GRADE
The void grade (1% - 10%] At this grade, tutoring usually isn't an option, and the student is at risk of a complete reset, which is very undesirable.
Z
VUZ GRADE
The worst possible grade [0%-1%] . If someone were to ever receive such a grade, they would instantly get demoted down a grade. The student, at this point, may receive a reset.
★
STAR GRADE: Unstandardized
The star grade [96% - ∞). Basically serves as a less strict Super Grade, making it more useful and practical for organizations to use.
𓅂
BIRD GRADE: Unstandardized
The bird grade is even less standardized than the star grade; this grade is given to pupils who received a Super (or sometimes Star) grade on the final examination but are not Super (or Star) students over the course.
The Final Examination: Grades in the DOW Education System are usually not a full nine months, but rather a few; some schools (actually most in Do War) even do just one. This exam, lasting the whole school day, sometimes longer, determines the score you got for the grade you attended. Even if a VUZ student managed to get a CAB grade on the final examination, they would be considered a CAB student and vice versa. Depending on the school, a grade retention or grade 'fail' is given usually to lower-end FED students (E or F and below). Still, others set fail right at the start of the FED grades, including D. DOW mandates that VUZ students either receive intense tutoring (must be at U) or a grade retention.
Academic Reset: If a student obtains a V or Z grade, depending on their level of education, they may be eligible for an academic reset. Essentially, the student would be set back to the 1st grade, but they can test out and continue doing this for the following grades until they reach their original grade or fail.
The Capability Assessment: Once a student finishes the Senior grade, they are required to take either the DACA or WACA, depending on the type of school they attended. Like the Swiftmen, some organizations need both, but others don't require any, like a goon-level AOE application. A student cannot 'fail' a capability test; however, if they receive a low score, they must undergo Academic Reset in three months to try again. The final score is NOT the best attempt; hence, a redo could result in a lower score.
