Week 1- Digital Portfolios

Digital Portfolios

Last year, we had binders. They were bulky, breakable, and easily lost. Welcome to Intermediate and Advance Technical Theatre! THE FUTURE!

This year you will keep your work safe and compiled in an online portfolio using Google Sites. Please look at the exemplar link below and watch the video for any help you need to create this site. Your site must include:

  • A Homepage with easy to navigate tabs or links

  • A Bio and Artistic Statement

  • A page dedicated to "Sketches"

  • A page dedicated to "Vision Boards & Morgues"

  • A Page dedicated to "Completed Projects "

The portfolio must be "shared" with your non-school email. Make it an "editor". This is so you can continue to use the site after you graduate.

This portfolio is meant for professional use ONLY. You can use it to show colleges, apply for jobs, etc. Do not use this site for your own personal stuff. I will be checking it for periodically Test grades.

WHAT IS AN ARTISTIC STATEMENT?

ARTISTIC STATEMENT

An artistic statement expresses who you are and how you approach your artistic medium. This statement is a paragraph long.

Example: Annie is a driven actress who throws herself into a production completely, demanding perfection in her own work while striving to maintain the integrity of the piece as a whole. Her big heart allows her to empathize with the entire cast and crew as she works to fulfill the expectations shes set for herself as well as keeping the directors vision top priority. As a jack of all trades, Annie R. Such utilizes every skill she has to insure the production she works on reaches its full potential. Annie's commitment to a project is unwavering, and she is sure to allot her time evenly to every project with which she aligns herself.
