Grading

My grading practice

My goal is to help you pass this course! The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) requires a grade of “C” or better to take the California DRE Examination for real estate licensing. Assignments will be graded weekly. If you experience any challenges (with the content, Canvas, or outside the course) please let me know so that we can work together to resolve any issues.

If a challenge occurs that prevents you from completing the course, please use the Student Information System (SIS) at www.wlac.edu to drop the class. I also ask that you inform me of your decision in writing to avoid any confusion when final grades are due.

How your coursework is weighted

You may earn up to 600 points during the course. Your final grade will be based upon the total number of points you earn from quizzes, discussion questions, exams and the class project.

    • Assignments: 100 points (10 assignments @ 10 points each)
    • Discussion Questions: 100 points (10 discussions @ 10 points each)
