In this project, I explored different types of digital media, including images, animations, video, and audio. The purpose of this assignment was to learn how digital media is created and used, and to provide the proper credit/licensing information for it.
Here is an example of a GIF I found on GIPHY to represent animation as a form of digital media

Here is a recorded audio of a sound effect I created to demonstrate original media content. This track is shared under the CC BY 4.0 license, which allows anyone to share or adapt it as long as credit is given. (So everyone can listen if the audio doesn't work on this site, I provided a link above just in case.)
The video I chose to use is a video about men's mental health uploaded on June 10th, 2025, by The Pivot Podcast. I chose this video because it focuses on men’s mental health, a topic that is often overlooked. The video uses digital media to spread awareness, encourage open conversations, and show how online platforms can be used to educate and support mental health discussions. I selected this video because it demonstrates how digital media can be a powerful tool for social awareness and emotional well-being, especially for topics that may be difficult to talk about in person.
Through this project, I learned that digital media comes in many different formats, such as images, audio, video, and animations. I also learned how to find media with the proper licenses and how to give correct attribution when using other creators’ work.
