PhD Candidates
I am particularly interested in candidates whose research interests align with one or more of the following areas:
Artificial Intelligence and SMEs: the adoption, financing, and firm-level effects of AI technologies among small and medium-sized enterprises, including productivity, valuation, and access-to-finance implications.
Political Finance: the interaction between political cycles, policy uncertainty, and financial markets, including asset pricing, volatility, and investment behavior.
Climate Finance: the pricing of climate-related risks on SMEs and not only, sustainable investment, and the financial implications of this transition.
An UG degree in Economics or Finance or Business Studies or a related quantitative field
A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
Strong quantitative and econometric background
A genuine research interest in one or more of the areas above
Excellent written and spoken English (the thesis will be delivered in English)
