Portfolio Management

Term: Autumn

The aim of the course is to describe and develop the theoretical dimension of activities related to investment management and to explore the practical applications of these theories. In this course, reference is made to the definition of investment objectives and policy, the selection of portfolio management strategies, and the measurement and evaluation of portfolio performance and individual assets. 

International Finance

Term: Spring

The course aims to create a solid knowledge base of international finance. In general, international finance is a subject that is constantly evolving and must deal largely with real-world issues such as balance of payments problems and policy, the causes of exchange rate movements, and the consequences of macroeconomic linkages between economies. The main thrust of this course is to provide a framework within which key global financial issues, including the operations of multinational corporations and investment strategies, can be analyzed. 

Banking Finance

Term: Spring

The course enables students to understand, analyze, and critically examine today's commercial and investment banks' purpose, principles, and fundamental concepts. This includes an understanding of the special nature of banks, the most relevant banking activities and services, the different types of banking transactions, an overview of international banking, the role of central banks and their impact on banking operations, bank regulation and supervision, bank failure,s and banking crises, bank balance sheet, bank financial management, and bank risk management.
