In the dim and distant past, before the existence of Chaos, there was a time when the Peridot Team ran competitions for Keepers to 'design' their very own Archetype Dots for inclusion in the game.
Alas, the introduction of Chaos Traits all but concluded the possibility for future Archetype competitions (but never say never).
So, for the sake of reminiscence, we present here the winners of each of the competitions held and you will recognise the Archetypes as they are all currently in the game.

Such was the quality of the submissions for the first ever Archetype competition, rather than just 1 winner (as was originally envisioned), the Peridot Team decided to open up an additional 4 'categories' and award winners from these also.
Upon inclusion in the game, some of the Archetype names were changed to better suit the game Archetype naming convention - namely:
paint slingers became Paint
aurora borealis became Aurora
cinna-bun became Cinnamon Bun
Note - this competition was run solely on Campfire so we don't have further details ofthe winning entries other than what you see here.

After the resounding success of the first Archetype competition, it was decide that this time there would be 4 winners from the beginning - no name changes this time.

The penultimate Archetype competition followed the same format of the previous one with great success - again, no name changes.

Unbeknown to Keepers, this was to be the last Archetype competition but the entries and final winners were no less impressive than in previous competitions. Again, 4 winners were added to the game with no name changes.

Will there ever be another Archetype competition?
Whilst it cannot be completely ruled out, the introduction of Chaos Traits makes it extremely difficult to imagine any more Archetype competitions going forward. We would be more than happy to be proven wrong though!
