Foraging - Locations/Surfaces and Rewards

Foraging on different surfaces and at Habitats rewards you with Dot food and other items depending on where you Forage.  Here's a look at where to Forage and what you can expect (during normal play, not during an Event):

Each location/surface that can be Foraged at is here, with all the potential Rewards listed - Highest probability first (relative weighting shown in brackets).  NOTE: Foraging at/on Water is currently bugged and likely to be changed soon.

Once you are within 100m of a Habitat, the first Forage you do can earn you 'special' rewards as indicated in the above table under 'Habitat'.

There is a 2 hour cooldown on Habitat Foraging for special items, this is sometimes reduced to 1 hour or 30 minutes during Events.  In the interim you can still Forage and receive 'normal' items form the surface at the Habitat (i.e. grass, sand, water etc.) but not the Habitat specific items.

On your Map view, you can see which Habitats you have Foraged at and are still in cooldown - they will not have the white border round them.  When the cooldown expires they will revert to having the white border.
