The Great Latin Reading Challenge
Quid est?
Magister Craft started a reading challenge to encourage students and teachers to read more Latin, especially as we find ourselves restricted to our homes.
I've taken up the challenge within the Sims 4 world, which gives some limitations, e.g. placet simulationi sedere cum legat. Whether it's through the Sims or just yourself, join the fun!
THE GOALS
Meta Magna: Complete one full line (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) of reading activities
Meta Summa: Complete all reading activities
THE RULES
Pick any Latin Text you like, but no two can be the same.
You must read a minimum of five minutes per block.
You must record yourself while reading out loud.
Cite the name of text and author’s name.
Share your videos on social media. Tag it #LatinReadAThon.
