Travel and Train Programs

Tailored to sport, show, and working dogs, the travel and train programs will set up you and your pup for a lifetime of confidence and relaxation on the road, ensuring stress free trips from day one and allowing you to focus on the fun parts. Also highly successful as a travel partner “boot camp”, for the busy owner who loves to travel with their dog(s), making vacations, camping, and road trips with their furry friends more enjoyable as well as improving manners at home. Working, sport, pet, and behavior modification programs are available.

All programs are offered on a limited basis to ensure your furry friend the best possible care and individual attention. Pricing includes an initial consultation and two follow up sessions. Dogs are crated in crash tested kennels in my vehicle while driving and stay in the rig with me and my dogs, always monitored closely to ensure their safety and comfort. Each dog is worked with individually multiple times per day, and attends Group Adventures as their behavior and comfort allows. Specialized training requires full disclosure of need and is adjusted accordingly. For all programs, drop off and pickup must be scheduled ahead. I offer pick up and drop off at your home or a convenient location for an additional fee.

Baby Basics and Socialization, $2200

Available for puppies from 10-20 weeks of age who have had at least two sets of vaccines
The best way to get your new puppy started on the right paw to be a successful travel and trial partner. Emphasizes life skills, impulse control, desensitization, and socialization. Puppies are worked with individually multiple times per day in different environments and situations, and attend Training Walks and Group Adventures as their maturity, behavior, and comfort allows.
Program covers handling skills, name recognition, sit, down, stand, stay, come, wait, leave it, drop it, loose leash walking, touch, doorway etiquette, crate training and confinement, relaxation skills, car manners, cooperative care, and more.

Basics and Desensitization, $2400

Available for non-reactive dogs from 5 months and up
Tailored to older puppies and dogs who are almost ready to start their careers but lack the travel foundations to succeed on the road, as well as pet dogs whose owners want to make vacations, camping, and road trips more enjoyable without leaving their furry friends at home. Dogs are worked with individually multiple times per day and attend Group or Solo Adventures as their behavior and comfort allows.
Program covers handling skills, name recognition, sit, down, stand, stay, come, wait, leave it, drop it, loose leash walking, touch, doorway etiquette, crate training and confinement, relaxation skills, car manners, cooperative care, ringside manners, and more, as well as skills relevant to their specific job or sport.

Road Warrior, $2200

Available for non-reactive dogs from 5 months and up who have completed Basic training
Tailored to older puppies and dogs who have a solid foundation and have completed basic manners training but need to gain experience on the road or a more solid foundation in their new job. Dogs are worked with individually multiple times per day and attend Group or Solo Adventures as their behavior and comfort allows.
Program covers all necessary basic skills at home and in public, relaxation skills, ringside manners, grooming desensitization, advanced handling techniques, plus skills needed for your dog’s sport or job.

Behavior Modification, $4200

Designed to get your dog back on track after struggles with leash reactivity, resource guarding, and much more, by working through the reasons behind the behavior issues such as anxiety, stress, or arousal. Dogs are worked with individually multiple times per day and attend Group or Solo Adventures as their behavior and comfort allows.
Program covers handling skills, name recognition, sit, down, stand, stay, come, wait, leave it, drop it, loose leash walking, touch, doorway etiquette, crate training and confinement, relaxation skills, muzzle desensitization, and controlled trigger exposure and desensitization.
