DoReMi Dog Behavior
DoReMi Dog Behavior
science based progressive dog training and behavior services for sport, show, and working dogs
currently serving Northern San Diego, Orange County and more available on a case by case basis
I began training professionally in 2011 after accepting an offer at a local pet chain and completing a mentorship with a local certified behavior specialist. I began competing in conformation, rally, dock diving, and more in 2016 and continue to do so regularly. After seven years in retail training I began working as a behavior specialist for a large Humane Society performing assessments and behavior modification on shelter animals. I became certified as a LSHC-s in 2018 and received my CPDT-ka certification in 2019. I launched my full time training business soon after, but remain connected to nonprofits and the community through events and volunteer work. While building my private training business I also worked for a transport company and as a pet groomer, and most recently for an ADI accredited Service Dog training organization.
I currently offer board and trains for clients all over the country, and private sessions in the Orange County area. I have set programs for basic manners, behavior modification, confidence building, and sports foundations, or I can work with you to create a specialize program tailored to your dogs specific needs. I am comfortable with all types of dogs, but specialize in herding and working breeds. I also offer limited handling services in the conformation ring.
