This is one of the collectibles within the game. The battery really only serves one purpose within Floor 1 and that's to power the flashlight. The battery spawns frequently on tables or within drawers. A very common item to see. According to the Doors Wiki, the battery recharges a flashlight by 50%.

The key is another common item in Doors. Multiple times, you will encounter locked doors where you must find a key. Keys can be hidden honestly anywhere: on tables, in drawers, on beds, on boxes, etcetera and etcetera. If you are unable to find a key for some time, Guiding Light will coat the key in a bright light to help. Keys have numbers on them telling you the specific door that they open. However, sometimes the numbers can be scratched out so remember door numbers!

This is another common item within Doors. Most usually bandages appear when you lose health. They can appear before you lose health too. According to the Doors Wiki, bandages heal you up by 15 points. If you have full health, you won't be able to use the bandage.

Coins have two purposes. To buy items from Jeff's shop and for them to get converted to knobs. Coins can spawn in drawers and on tables. I recommend you have around 1000 coins before reaching Jeff's shop to buy everything in the shop. Still collect coins after door 52 for knobs.

This is the decoding paper found in door 50. It is located on the left wing of the library on top of the library desk. This paper is necessary to find the numbers for the code needed to unlock door 51. Each number corresponds with a shape. After unlocking door 51 this paper disappears from the player's inventory.

Books are only found within door 50. Books are needed to find the numbers for the code needed to pass through door 51. The books are located on shelves only and can be located on any shelf on the mezzanine and downstairs. The books with numbers in them stand out a little more compared to the other hundred books on the shelves. They have blue sparkles coming out of them and a gleaming sound is played when next to one.

The item above is an alarm clock. Alarm clocks are guaranteed to be found in both door 49 and door 50. In door 49, it is located face down on top of the desk and in door 50 it is located on a table next to the stairs on the right wing of the library. Alarm clocks were primarily designed to distract the Figure with the sound. One should be used for door 50 and the other should be used for door 100.

This is a lockpick. Lockpicks can be used to open locked chests and locked doors (except door 51). Lockpicks are a nice way to gain more coins from chests and to rush through rooms without needing to search for the key. The lockpick also slows the amount of time spent in the Electrical room by cutting the need to spend time finding the Breaker Room Key. It can be bought for 100 coins in Jeff's shop.

Lighters are a mediocre light source within the game. They aren't as great as flashlights in lighting up an area and have less fuel in general. However, they have more of a chance of spawning randomly than other light sources. Lighters can also be bought in Jeff's shop for 100 coins and in the pre-run shop for 50 knobs. Lighters can also light candles.

Candles are another light source. By itself, a candle is generally useless. it needs to be ignited by a lighter to even work however it lasts longer than the lighter and can also light up more things. If put in a rift it will transform into a possessed candle which is capable of telling you when a monster is approaching. This is particular with Rush and is especially helpful in doors 90-100 when you don't have the visual cues to tell whether or not it's coming. It cannot be bought in Jeff's shop nor the pre-run shop but does spawn occasionally on tables or desks.

A skeleton key's only purpose is to open skeleton doors. It has the rare chance to spawn randomly but is always guaranteed to be on display in Jeff's shop. It can be bought in Jeff's shop for 300 coins. It can also open any locked doors within the game but doing so will destroy it.

The flashlight is the greatest light source on Floor 1. It lasts for a long time, far more than any other light source, and has more range. The flashlight's click noise can attract the Figure so watch out for that. The flashlight can sometimes spawn randomly but can also be bought in the pre-run shop for 100 knobs and in Jeff's shop for 200 coins. The flashlight is more of an infinite light source because batteries are so commonplace within the game.

The crucifix is the only weapon in the game and is the only way to banish monsters. When used against a monster, it is banished for a while and the crucifix is destroyed. It cannot however kill the Figure and nor can it kill Seek. The crucifix has a rare chance of spawning randomly on tables and containers however it can be bought in Jeff's shop for 500 coins.

The vitamin's only purpose is to give players a nice speed boost. This is wonderful if you are trying to speed-run the game. Vitamins can be bought in 3 in the pre-run shop for 100 knobs and in Jeff's shop for 100 coins. They can spawn randomly in drawers and on tables.

The shears can only be found in the courtyard (door 89). The shears are hidden away in a singular wooden cabinet. The cabinet can be a bit hard to find but once opened there is always a shear guaranteed to be there. As of now, it's only purpose within Floor 1 is to cut the vines on the cellar to get inside. The shears last 5 cuts before being destroyed.
