Let's go over the most important entities you have to keep in mind. Note, not all entities within the game are included in this page primarily because I don't think they are as important and don't directly affect your gameplay other than scaring you. This is a horror game so be horrified and be on your toes.
This is Guiding Light. Whenever you die, Guiding Light will speak to you. He'll give you tips to avoid dying next time and will inform you of the monster that killed you. If you are lost in a room and can't find a key, he will light the spot where the key is, in a bright blue light. When a player is being chased by Seek, Guiding Light will highlight the doors you have to take to escape. When a player is trying to find the key code for Door 51, Guiding Light will highlight the books you need to take. Guiding Light also lights up the switches in the Electrical Room for you to collect as well as lights up the lever in Door 61. According to the Doors Wiki, Guiding Light will prevent Seek from chasing you any further, locks the door shut, and will break a lamp to distract the Figure for you. This is a friendly entity, and it'll help you on your journey to Door 100.

This is the Figure. It is one of the main bosses on Floor 1 and the most dangerous. It appears on both Doors 50 and Doors 100 so expect these rooms to be insanely difficult. It is unkillable and can only be momentarily stunned by the crucifix (Items & Collectibles). The only actions you can do are to hide and run. If you hide in a closet just before the Figure gets you, you'll be safe. The Figure has a weakness which is that it is blind, however, its hearing is impeccable. Whenever you are around the Figure it is best to crouch so it doesn't hear your footsteps. It is faster than you unless you use vitamins (Items & Collectibles). The Figure's footsteps are loud so you can tell when he is coming near you. At Door 50 and 100, he always uses a particular route however he will deviate from it if he hears you. The Figure will instantly kill you in one hit. The Figure is relatively easy to deal with. Just DON'T be heard.

This is Seek, another one of the main bosses in Doors. Seek most usually only appears 2 times in a whole walkthrough. Seek, much like the Figure cannot be killed no matter what and can only be momentarily stalled before it comes chasing you. The only room Seek will appear in is the long hallway room. Not all hallway rooms house the Seek. The biggest indicator that Seek will appear are eyeballs appearing on the walls. When the eyeballs show up, USUALLY Rush will not appear but the game likes to trick you into thinking you're safe. The lights will flicker every time the eyeballs show up on the walls. However, lights flickering are also an indicator of Rush coming so if the lights DO flicker just in case stay near a closet in case you need to hide. The only action you can do against Seek is to run. There is no hiding, no fighting, just RUN. He is a bit slower than you, so it is almost usually easy to escape the Seek. Obstacles like bookshelves falling on your way, or which door to take will be highlighted in blue by Guiding Light. Just be ready to crouch and expect obstacles to appear in your way. The recommended item to survive Seek are the vitamins but you can survive even without them.

This is Rush. It is the most common monster and chances are it will be the one to kill you. There are multiple indicators that it is about to show up. First the flickering of lights. If you miss this indicator, there is a slight noise that can be heard like a car zooming towards you just before he gets you. The only way to survive Rush is by hiding in a closet, cabinet, or under a bed. If you are in one of the basement levels where you have to flick the lever to open the gates Rush cannot kill you. Rush cannot kill you if you are in the skeleton key room. Rush also cannot kill you on Door 100 because it cannot intervene when the Figure is present. According to DualShockers, "Once this ghastly foe hits an unopened door, it will disappear, and players can safely leave their hiding spot." Thus, when you see the lights, flicker do NOT open the next door unless closets are not within your vicinity. This action ends Rush early, and you can move forward without wasting time. If you decide you've had enough of Rush and want to get rid of him, there is a way. That is through the crucifix although it only kills him one time and worse, Rush can come back. If you are caught by Rush, you will instantly be killed. The general tip for this monster is to hide and FAST.

This is Ambush. Ambush works in the same way as Rush except it is much, much faster and it usually comes out of nowhere. It can appear at any point in the game but has a higher chance of spawning after Door 50. The biggest indicator is a loud, unsettling noise almost like a loud yell that tells you Ambush is coming. Wait 2 seconds and immediately enter a closet. After Ambush passes immediately exit the closet and go back inside. Ambush can rebound multiple times. According to Doors Wiki, it can rebound 2-6 times making it unpredictable and dangerous. The only actions you can do against Ambush are to hide or kill it with the crucifix. You cannot outrun Ambush as it is one of the fastest entities in Doors. If Ambush manages to get you, you will die instantly. Ambush isn't as common of an entity as Rush, however the more experienced you become and the more you die, the more likely it is to appear. In my experience, Ambush usually appears once in a walk-through and only once. If you have a crucifix at hand, USE it on this monster. Personally, I consider Ambush to be the worst monster to deal with in the game and it's better to kill it than to try and survive it.

This is Halt. Based on my experience alone Halt almost always usually appears in Doors 70-80. However, according to the Doors Wiki Halt can appear anywhere from Doors 2-92. You can listen to either advice but in general, more monsters appear after Door 50. There are multiple ways to survive Halt. Halt is slow, so it is easy to run away from it, however, its main goal is to disorientate and confuse you, so you walk straight into it. The recommended item to survive the Halt is most usually the vitamins because then you can run straight to the next Door without any consequence. If you don't have vitamins then it is best to listen to the instructions given to you. Halt can teleport in front of you, so as soon as you hear and see the words "TURN AROUND" you must turn around and go the other way. You know you are facing the Halt when your screen turns into this bluish-green ghost color. Before facing this room, the lights will flicker albeit for much longer than they would have when Rush is coming. Halt can be killed using the crucifix as well. You cannot hide from Halt. Halt does not immediately kill you, but it does get rid of a majority of your health.

This is Eyes. Eyes is a very simple creature to deal with. Just don't look at its way. It cannot immediately kill you but the more time you spend looking the more health it leeches off, of you. Before Eyes appear, there is a strange warbling sound that reverberates around the room and a purple light appears. Eyes doesn't harm the player unless actively being looked at. If it annoys you, you can kill it using the crucifix, but you'd be wasting a valuable weapon. No action is needed against it, and neither is any weapon. Eyes can appear in any room, most usually after room 5.

This is Screech. Screech is probably if not the most annoying monster in the game. The biggest indicator that Screech is attached to you, is the sound it makes. It's a little "Psst" sound. Screech only appears when the room is dark and all light in the room is gone. Light from your flashlight, lighter or candle will get rid of it, however. Screech is attached to you, so to get rid of it, you just have to start looking around, moving your console until you look at him. Once you look at the Screech, it will go away. It can appear multiple times, and if not seen by you, it will take a portion of your health. You can kill it using the crucifix however it is not recommended to use such a weapon against a minor entity.

This is Dupe. Dupe is relatively easy to deal with. In Doors, the game will try to trick you by adding multiple numbered doors you can go through. The wrong-numbered doors are where Dupe hides. It is best to count the numbers on the Doors as you pass on your journey to Door 100 if you lose track that's when you are most likely to be attacked by Dupe. Dupe doesn't immediately kill you and there is no need to hide or run from Dupe. Dupe can be killed by the crucifix however it would be wasted on this minor entity. If you have lost track of the door number, try to get as close as possible to the door without opening it and keep your ears peeled for any growling noises. If you hear the growling noises, head over to the other door. Remember there is no physical difference between the numbered doors so it is impossible to dupe the Dupe (hah) unless you have kept track of the numbers or you have your volume all the way up to catch some growls.

This is Hide. Hide is not usually a hostile entity however attacks when you overstay your welcome in one of the closets or beds. To avoid Hide, just don't spend too long in the closets or beds. If you do stay, Hide will give you warnings. Your vision will get blurry and your heartbeat will increase until you are kicked out of the closet by Hude. Hide will not kill you but will take a portion of your health. But if that doesn't dissuade you from using the closets and beds for too long, according to DualShockers, once Hide kicks you out of a closet, for 10 seconds you will not be able to hide at all. Hide cannot kick you out of its closets at Door 50 nor in the electrical room because it does not interfere with the Figure.

This is Timothy, a spider. Timothy can randomly appear in one of the drawers when you open it. It's a jump scare monster and will climb on your face taking a bit of your health. If you are in low health, it will kill you but other than that there is not much to expect from Timothy. I only included Timothy because it does take a bit of your health and blurs your screen red for a couple of seconds which may be detrimental to you if Rush is approaching. Just keep in mind that when you are opening drawers Timothy may be lying around to surprise you with a hug.

This is Snare. Snare has the same annoyance value as Screech. Snare only appears from Doors 90 until Door 100. Snare is only deadly because doors 90 through 100 are dark unless you have a flashlight, lighter, or candle. Without a light source, you have more of a chance of falling into Snare because it's nigh impossible to see. Snare will take a portion of the player's health if walked on and will stun the player momentarily too. This is deadly especially in Doors 90 through 100 because Rush appears way more often and can barely be heard at that stage. It is best not to underestimate Snare however it is rather harmless.

This is Jeff. Jeff is always in Door 51. He sells the player multiple useful items. You can buy multiple items from his shop, and you can also tip him for his service. If you fill his tip jar Jeff will be happy and do a little dance. He is a rather docile and friendly entity. When Rush comes, Jeff will close the shop and hide. If you switch the music on his radio, he will be angry and switch the music back. This is the same if you shine a light on him. Jeff can sell you a range of multiple items and they are ALWAYS useful. He can sell you a crucifix, flashlight, lighter, vitamins, skeleton key, and lockpicks.

This is Void. Void only appears if the player is lagging behind a group. If you are too far from your group Void will damage you, but will not kill you unless you have low health and will teleport you back to where you are supposed to be. Void can also teleport you if you are playing by yourself, in case the room doesn't load properly. According to the Doors Wiki, it can be killed by the crucifix and deal no damage to you, however, you will still be teleported back to where you are supposed to be. Void has no physical appearance.
This is Dread. Dread only appears if the clock has struck midnight. It is easy to check the time when looking at a wall clock or a grandfather clock in a room. Dread will slowly follow the player until the next door has been opened. Dread can be crucified and according to the Doors Wiki, it will be killed for all other players running with you. During Dread's chase, your hearing will be stunted making Rush and Ambush more dangerous. As Dread gets closer to you, it gets more louder. Dread will instantly kill you once it reaches you.
