The Cenobites have retrieved the original contract that bars the Aboleth from accessing their magic or manifesting their true forms in this world. It is believed that this reversal clause will not only dispell the bindings that banish the aboleth to the sea, it will also curse the dragons to wither and devolve into great worms with only the dimmest traces of consciousness.

The Dragons are the only old world creatures left that are still sworn to guard the Thinny. With them gone, there will be nothing to stop Lord <^>*<^> and the forces of the Astral Sea from joining us here on Oerth!
