AMI Education

Pre-school period of a child is very important. An Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) system is designed for cognitive, affirmative and psychomotor development of a child. Our pre-school curriculum is designed according to AMI method which is designed in giving keys to the children to explore their world. The adults play the role of a facilitator in showing the way when and where how to widen the knowledge of the children. We use Exercises of Practical Life (E P L activities) as well as sensorial activities to develop our kids, so they can care of themselves and environment, and develop their knowledge and the social behaviour.

Under the AMI curriculum we train our kids to achieve the expected level in mathematics and English to follow the Cambridge curriculum. Furthermore, we train our kids to read and write in Sinhala too.

We have a AMI qualified staff with the knowledge of Psychology of early childhood as well as first-aid methods.
