Don't Dump on San Benito began in 2021 like many grassroots groups with a few dedicated residents who are passionate about protecting their community. They started by attending the County's public meetings about the John Smith Landfill expansion, researching, knocking on doors to educate neighbors, and meeting to discuss how to prevent the dump expansion from negatively impacting our community.
