An unexpected jazz experiment with the subtlety of feelings and a touch of film poetics

The new song was created spontaneously – as a musical reaction to a period full of surprises, unexpected emotions and the realization that the most beautiful things in life often happen without planning. "Between the Lines is about when we start to understand each other between the lines," says Dominika. "About the feeling that something extraordinary is emerging, but at the same time we feel doubts whether those emotions are mutual. In the end, however, we understand that there is no escape from it – we just have to trust our feelings and live fully."

The single was created in the recording studio of the Brno University of Technology. The recording was co-produced by students of the Faculty of Music of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts, Jazz Department, Dalibor B. Tarnóczy (tenor saxophone), Pavol Mojto (double bass) and David Geprt (drums). Dominika Dorincova took on the piano part. The album cover was created by the versatile artist, member of the aforementioned ensemble Dalibor B. Tarnóczy, who performs under the stage name mr.tarkow.
