I am third-year PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield, UK.
In my research, I am gleaning efficient methods for making statistical inference on individual animal movement data in continuous time. I am supervised by Prof. Paul Blackwell, in the School of Mathematics and Statistics (SoMaS).

I was awarded 'best talk' at the Nottingham Research Students Conference, 2022.
For my work as president of the Sheffield SIAM-IMA student chapter, I was awarded the 'SIAM certificate of recognition' in 2023.
At the summer meeting of the National Centre for Statistical Ecology, 2023, I was awarded 'best student talk'.
Due to my prize from the 2022 Nottingham RSC, I was invited to speak at the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) Conference in Harrogate, 2023, as part of an RSC-dedicated series.
