The MS Society is a UK based network which provides information and support for people living with MS. In addition to an MS telephone helpline and an online forum, the MS society has local support groups who arrange support meetings and social activities.
The Multiple Sclerosis Trust provides information and support for people living with MS. The Multiple Sclerosis Trust trains and educates MS health professionals and funds MS nurses in the areas of greatest need. In addition, the website contains a search tool for finding local medical services specific to MS care.
MS-UK provides information and support for people living with MS. In addition to a helpline service, which is accessible by phone or email, MS-UK offers a counselling service.

Northern Ireland Multiple Sclerosis Research Hub
The Northern Ireland Multiple Sclerosis Research Hub (NIMSRH) was launched in April 2025. The NIMSRH was founded by QUB researchers (including Dr Dombrowski) and a clinical team of consultants and nurses specialising in MS. The aim of the NIMSRH is to develop a foundation for an MS Centre of Excellence in Northern Ireland. This will be achieved through cutting-edge research, with emphasis on two key areas: partnership research between scientists, clinicians and the public; and developing future generations of diverse researchers, to improve the lives of people affected by MS.
All-Ireland MS Research Network
The All-Ireland MS research network (AIMS-RN) was established in February 2021 with the objective of supporting collaborative research, including collaboration with people with MS, across the island of Ireland. The network aspires to limit the progression of MS, to train future generations of MS researchers and to contribute to global MS research.
NI MS Research Network
The Northern Ireland MS Research Network (NIMSRN) is a collaboration between biomedical researchers in QUB and clinicians from the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (BHSCT) to support and advance cutting-edge research in Multiple Sclerosis in Northern Ireland.
