NIMSRN, June 2021

Northern Ireland Multiple Sclerosis Research Network Symposium (NIMSRN) held their annual meeting online. A diverse and interesting array of research topics were discussed. Congratulations to Sarah who won first prize in the poster competition.

Remerge symposium, Oct 2019

The Queen's University Belfast Regenerative Medicine Research Group (REMERGE), is a multidisciplinary group, working together to promote and advance regenerative medicine approaches to a range of clinical conditions. The REMERGE symposium is an annual event hosted by our own institute, the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute For Experimental Medicine (WWIEM). Laura was invited to give a talk about her research. She also presented a poster, as did Dan and Jenny.

The 15th European Meeting on Glial Cells in Health and Disease was held in Porto. Laura, Dan and Sarah presented posters of their recent research. It was very successful conference and as you can see they had the opportunity to see the sights of Porto.

The British Society for Immunology's Ulster Immunology Group meeting - "Immunology without borders" took place in Belfast in our own institute, the WWIEM. This international meeting focussed on four main subjects; regenerative immunology, immunonutrition, viral infections of the respiratory tract and innate lymphoid cell immunology. Rachael had the opportunity to give a talk on her PhD findings while Laura, Dan, Sarah and Emma presented posters. The Dombrowski group was well represented.
