Practicum Work

This artifact documents me completing a post-production task in the ODU scene shop, where I used the Genie lift to hang a piece from the recent play Strings from the ceiling. Completed on 11/20/2025. 

I removed the old adhesive from a previously used prop and wooden base, stripping it down so the surface was completely clean. After that, I used the sander to smooth everything out before applying wood compound for a fresh, even finish. Once it dried, it was ready for the next person to paint it and add the new adhesive that creates the concrete-and-brick texture.
