Member of the Senate Seal

After eight years serving in the United States House of Representatives, Congressman Robert J. Dole made the transition into the United States Senate after winning a seat in 1968. Now instead of just representing the constituents in the Big First District, Senator Dole was now tasked with being a voice for the entirety of the state of Kansas as one of two Senators. This wall hanging displaying the seal of the Senate represents how proud Senator Dole was to be a Senator and how much pride he took in helping to make decisions that would affect his native Kansans, but also all the citizens in the United States.
